Within 50 metres of Home Valley Station's Homestead is the Bindoola Creek Trail, a direct walking trail that leads guests into the heart of the
stunning Bindoola Gorge.
This exciting rock hopping bush walk reveals a thriving aquatic ecosystem beneath the towering sandstone cliffs of the gorge. Guests can
swim, soak and relax to the sound of bubbling waters while marvelling at the expansive views of the Cockburn Range.
The Bindoola Creek Trail is a 1.6 km to 3km circuit walk, which has been carefully mapped and signposted by Home Valley Station's Indigenous
trainees with the ideal of respecting and sharing the country at the fore. Our qualified Tour Guides operate a fully guided walk of
the Bindoola Creek Trail.
The Bindoola Creek Trail Guided Walk is also big on adventure with canoeing and fishing included at various large waterholes found throughout
the gorge.
Sections of the circuit are difficult and should only be attempted by physically fit and capable walkers. Guests are advised to wear sturdy
footwear. The distance of the walk will be determined according to individual groups and conditions.
Bindoola Creek Trail Guided Walks can include a breakfast hamper, canoeing and fishing equipment, lunch, binoculars, bird books among other
requirements, as determined on the day by the group and guide, and according to conditions.
